Gale Duncan, DVM

Dr. Duncan is originally from Eagle River, Alaska, where she was born and raised.
She graduated from Washington State University in 2010 with a BS in Animal Sciences and from the WSU Veterinary Medical School in 2014. She then completed an internship an an equine medical and surgical facility outside of Tampa, Florida before joining the Mountainview Veterinary team.

Dr. Duncan is committed to all aspects of continuing her education, starting with completing her internship (which is not required for equine veterinarians), and continuing with recently completing advanced training in acupuncture in 2017. She also became certified in Veterinary Spinal Medical Manipulation (very similar to chiropractic in people) in December 2017 and will finish her training in Chinese herbal medicine in 2018.

Dr. Duncan treats all species of animals but specializes in horses. Her areas of specific interest include TCVM, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Veterinary Spinal Medical Manipulation, equine lameness, dental care, preventative medicine, and colic. She currently lives near Keyser with her Great Dane and two cats. (Source)
