Hana started her riding career at age 5 as a hunter. By age 10, Hana had countless championships in the B circuit and started Catch Riding. Her career expanded as she added Western, Dressage & Saddle Seat to her skill set. At age 17, Hana started training horses and those horses competed in the B circuit & Breed Show circuit, placing in every class. As the Junior career ended, Hana attended Lake Erie College where she competed on the IHSA Team (as a jumper) & the IDA team (testing to level 2). Since 2011, Hana has exclusively been training, teaching & competing in the Hunter & Jumper discipline, including becoming the Jumper & Saddle Seat Coach for the Milford Equestrian Team during their reserve championship season in 2015. Hana has a classical style of teaching with a focus on the ‘how & why’ of what the rider is being taught. Her training rides focus on the horses individual needs & keeping each horse in top physical shape. Hana also very knowledge in feeding, vet care and stable management as she has held every barn job title in her past. Hana is also the owner of 2 horses here at Ringside, Brooke (a barrel racer) & Ned (a lesson horse). (Source)
