Heather Pedersen, DVM

Dr Pedersen grew up in Pemberton BC. She was a licensed veterinary technician and worked in equine neonatal ICU in Kentucky and New Zealand before graduating from Massey veterinary school in New Zealand in 2012. She Completed a fellowship in Equine internal medicine in Kentucky and then an internship in Equine practice in Edmonton. Since then, she has been working with horses in the Kamloops area. Dr. Pedersen is passionate about equine dentistry and internal medicine. She started Pedersen Equine Veterinary Services in 2024 and is currently working toward becoming an equine specialist through the American Board of veterinary practitioners. In her spare time, Dr. Pedersen enjoys riding her own horses, camping, and spending time with her family.
