Hope Jessica Burge, DVM

Dr. Hope Burge grew up in North Alabama where she was very active in the sport of rodeo. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Auburn University in 2009. Following graduation she moved to Starkville and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2013. Dr. Burge was in private practice in Northwest Mississippi for a short time upon graduation before accepting a position as Resident Veterinarian at a large quarter horse breeding farm in West Tennessee. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially likes theriogenology and lameness. Dr. Burge enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog Charley during her spare time.
