J. Larry Agle, DVM

Dr. J. Larry Agle, founder of Buckeye Veterinary Service, has been practicing medicine since graduating from The Ohio State University in 1992, where he received his degree in Animal Science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.After graduating, Dr. Agle moved to Southern California where he spent time on the thoroughbred racing circuit. In 1994 he got the opportunity to move back to Ohio when he joined Stachowski Veterinary Service. Six years after joining the practice, Dr. Agle purchased it in 2000.Under Dr. Agle’s direction Buckeye Veterinary Service was born. The practice quickly began to grow and the addition of five qualified and highly reputable veterinarians, a new clinic, and small clinic staff followed.Dr. Agle’s veterinary special interests include equine lameness, alpaca reproduction and medicine. He splits his time being an ambulatory practioner, in-house clinician and principal managing partner of Buckeye Veterinary Service.Personally, Dr. Agle and his wife have two children and both are very active in school and sports. Dr. Agle enjoys fishing and bike riding, and loves Ohio State athletics! (Source)
