Jackie Dietrich, DVM

Dr. Jackie Dietrich grew up in Vacaville, CA, and studied Animal Science at Cal Poly SLO. She attended veterinary school at Massey University in New Zealand and started her career at Peninsula Equine Medical Center, CA. She stayed as an associate for several years and gained further advanced knowledge in sports medicine and general health management of the equine athlete. In 2019, Dr. Dietrich studied acupuncture at the Chi Institute and loves incorporating this skill into her holistic style approach. She has completed several advanced lameness and diagnostic imaging courses through the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). She has experience in high-level diagnostics, such as nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasound, gastroscopy/endoscopy, and radiography. Dr. Dietrich joined the Starwood team in 2022, and her career interests include sports medicine, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, and acupuncture.

Outside of work, you can find Jackie gardening, hiking, camping, and spending time with her friends and family, including her dog (Benjie) and cats (Joey and Catrick). (Source)
