Always at the heels of her mum, Jamie grew up as part of the horse world. Riding competitively in the pony divisions on her own “Shrimp on the Bobby” and “Kooralynn Twinkle” and catching rides on top sale ponies, she logged many miles in the hunter ring. With successful years in all of the Junior hunter and Medal classes and finals, Jamie won the Pickwick Medal finals in 1999. With immense gratitude to Marcia “Mousie” Williams, Jamie was united with “Sharp Try” in 1997. “Digger”, as he was lovingly known, was that special horse that allowed Jamie to compete in and win the High Junior Jumper divisions winning Championship at HITS Desert Circuit, Menlo Charity Horse Show, and countless others to finish off her Junior years. Jamie graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in Human Physiology in 2006. After marrying and having two beautiful daughters, Jamie has returned to Boundary Gate and joined her mother. As a professional, she loves to bring along young horses and has found her way back to the world of ponies through breeding and developing ponies for her daughters. (Source)
