At Lasting Impression Horsemanship, we specialize in building confident, willing horses through a foundation rooted in equine psychology, communication, and leadership. Owned and operated by Janelle Lamke, Lasting Impression Horsemanship combines over 25 years of hands-on horse experience with a background as a Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide a knowledgeable, safety-conscious approach to training and rider education.

Services include colt starting, behavioral correction, groundwork, riding lessons, tune-ups, show preparation, and foundational training for horses of all disciplines — including OTTBs and young prospects. Our program focuses on helping horses become mentally soft, respectful, confident, and responsive rather than relying on force or shortcuts.

We believe training should not only improve the horse, but also educate the owner. By teaching riders how horses think and communicate, we help create safer, more effective partnerships that last far beyond the training program itself.

Whether your horse struggles with groundwork, confidence, trailer loading, show anxiety, or under-saddle behavior, our goal is to create lasting results through clear communication and consistent leadership — not temporary fixes.
