Jenny McKilllip

Jenny McKilllip brings a rare and unique combination of skills to the ring as a riding instructor. She has competed extensively in open and breed specific events in the Western, English and Hunter/Jumper disciplines. In addition to her riding and training skills Jenny also has an extensive background in nutrition, giving her the ability to spot the difference between an equine behavioral issue and a nutritional one. Warm, supportive, and insightful, Jenny brings out the confidence in the most timid rider.

Jenny has worked under cutting and reining trainers over the years and Jenny was on WWCC college team in 92 & 93. Jenny believes that to be a good trainer, one must remain a student, and so Jenny continues her own work with trainers such as Kyya Grant from Othello, and is looking forward to attending another Buck Brannaman clinic in Spanaway, WA this upcoming November. “When I continue to work on myself, I find I always return to my students with fresh insights and inspiration,” Jenny says.
