I have always loved horses and they have always been an important part of my life. I became a farrier to keep horses healthy and sound. While cowboying out in Montana, we always used the phrase, “No feet, no horse”. Keeping a horse with sound conformation and healthy feet, requires a knowledgeable owner, a good veterinarian, and a sound farrier. this trio is a must have to keep your horse healthy, sound, and happy.

I have studied at the Wyoming School of Horseshoeing and have always trimmed and shod my own herd. I decided to become a professional farrier to help others keep sound, healthy horses. I am a member of the International Association of Professional Farriers, and have adopted the standards set forth by the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization.
