Jessica Younk, DVM

Special Interests: Lameness and Sports Medicine, Certified Equine Chiropractor, Acupuncture, Surgery

Dr. Younk graduated from Michigan State University with an Animal Science degree in 2004, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She then completed an internship at Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in all areas of equine medicine, surgery, lameness, and reproduction. She has pursued post-graduate training in advanced lameness evaluations, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, and diagnostic imaging, with a focus on maintaining the equine athlete.

Dr. Younk grew up in a small northern Michigan town, where her family raised Morgans for many years. She now owns a warmblood gelding and trains in Dressage. In her spare time, she enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors. Her many interests include riding running, biking, kayaking, and hiking. (Source)
