Jill Burton Acland, VMD

Jill B. Acland, VMD received her B.S. in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Prior to attending veterinary school, she pursued a career in sales and marketing in the equine and pet health industries. While contemplating an advanced business degree Jill realized her dream to become, a veterinarian was more important. During veterinary school, she participated in the summer veterinary student externship at Unionville Equine as well as various practices on the east coast and in Utah. She also participated in a Rural Area Veterinary Services trip to South Dakota. Following graduation from Penn Vet, Jill joined the practice as an associate veterinarian. Her clinical interests include equine reproduction, sports medicine and internal medicine. In their free time Jill, her husband and son Phin, enjoy tiring out their Jack Russell Terriers at terrier trials, hiking and biking.
