Joanna J. Bronson, DVM

Dr. Bronson (pictured to the left with her dog Rusty) attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2000, where she graduated at the top of her class and awarded the J.P. Hutton-W.F. Riley Equine Award for outstanding abilities demonstrated in equine surgery and medicine. Following graduation, she performed an equine internship at the Equine Specialty Hospital in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She established Bronson Veterinary Services in 2005 as an equine ambulatory practice only, as a need to spend more time with her young, growing family. Gradually the practice grew into a busy small animal and equine haul-in facility. Dr. Bronson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and her career takes her from equine reproduction and lameness evaluation/treatment to small animal diagnostics and orthopedic surgeries on a daily basis. She has also been trained at the Chi Institute in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine to offer acupuncture as an adjunct to Western Veterinary Medicine. In Dr. Bronson’s free time, she enjoys prepping horses and cattle with her children to show, sports, and horseback riding.
