About John B. Madison, VMD DACVS
Dr. Madison is a 1981 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He did an internship and surgical residency at New Bolton Center and spent the next eleven years of his career in academic practice at New Bolton Center and the University of Florida. In 1997, he founded Ocala Equine Hospital, a surgical practice in Ocala, Florida with a caseload that is primarily racing Thoroughbreds. In 2001, the surgical practice merged with two ambulatory practices to form the present Ocala Equine Hospital, P.A.
Dr. Madison is an avid hockey player and fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning. He also enjoys woodworking. (Source)
