John Wayne Pickard

Dr. John Pickard was raised in the state of New Mexico and recently joined our practice after graduating vet school for a year long internship.

Dr. Pickard was actively involved in 4-H, showing cattle and pigs, soccer, basketball and working alongside his dad who is also a veterinarian, spending much of his life on the race track.

Dr. Pickard graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he received an Undergraduate Degrees in Physiology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. He then went to St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, graduating in 2021.

In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and college football.

He is passionate about sports medicine and lameness and has been a great addition to our team here at IEH. (Source)
