Jon Walker

Jon Walker Stables has been in business serving the Charlotte area with a standard of excellence in horsemanship since 1995. Jon is a National & World Champion Trainer in the Saddlebred, the Road Horse, and Friesian Division. Amongst his peers, he is recognized as an honest, hard-working and professional horseman. Jon is a gifted horseman in many ways: training the horse and rider as a successful team, understanding each horse’s demeanor, and therefore gifted at pairing horse and amateur rider. He’s also very talented from the starting of a young prospect, to correcting behavioral problems that some horses may already have. He has satisfied customers that have been with him 20+ years, both locally and out of state. He is a proud member of American Saddlebred Horse Association, United States Equestrian Federation, American Road Horse and Pony Association, American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas, United Professional Horseman’s Association. He currently serves as the Vice-President of the American Road Horse and Pony Association. (Source)
