Jordan Taylor Baker, DVM

As the son of a veterinarian, I always dreamed of following in my father’s footsteps, so I moved to West Lafayette in 2003 after high school to pursue veterinary medicine. I graduated from Purdue’s Vet School in 2010 and joined our Boonville team soon after. Since then, I have worked with various species and added new imaging services and equipment to the clinics, including digital x-rays, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

My wife, Rachel, and I moved back to Warrick County in the Spring of 2019 with our son and daughter, Jackson & Adalyn, who are already proving to be animal lovers. Time will tell if they choose to follow the family footsteps. Our new space allows us to continue growing our own personal petting zoo, consisting of goats, horses, and pigs, along with the many dogs and cats. Rachel completed her training as a veterinary technician from Murray State University, but we are very grateful that she can stay home with our two children during their early years before she continues pursuing her own career in veterinary medicine.

I’m fortunate to now work alongside my father and sister, Drs. John and Natalie Baker, and other great veterinarians, technicians, and staff. We at Warrick Vet are truly a family-owned and operated, homegrown establishment. We have wonderful clients, and I am excited to continue to meet and serve our community. (Source)
