Karen Barnes, HBSc, DVM, CCRT, CERP

Karen Barnes HBSc, DVM, CCRT, CERP graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989 and has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in North Bay since 1992. Her areas of interest include soft tissue surgery, small animal medicine, canine rehabilitation and equine rehabilitation & performance enhancement. Dr. Barnes also sees patients at our Mattawa office once a week. Dr. Barnes is a past president of the Northern Ontario Veterinary Association and director at the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. In her spare time, she trains and shows her dressage horses, Hadley and Valentino. Presently she is on the board of directors at Nipissing University. (Source)
