Katie Beard, DC

Dr. Katie attended Texas Tech University where she graduated from the Health Sciences Center with a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and a M.S. in Molecular Pathology. Upon graduation she worked full time at a hospital in the laboratory. Eventually, she decided she wanted to find a way to help patients that didn’t involve medications and surgeries. This is what lead her to the world of Chiropractic.

Dr. Katie graduated from Parker University with her Doctorate in Chiropractic and a M.S. in Functional Nutrition. During her time at Parker, she focused her attention in many different areas so that she would be knowledgeable enough to treat patients from all walks of life, and even learned to adjust their 4-legged friends! Before graduating, Dr. Katie took courses in Animal Chiropractic and is certified to treat animals as well. From the smallest babies to the largest horses, Dr. Katie loves to adjust them all!

Dr. Katie also did additional work to become certified in Webster Technique in order to better serve pregnant women in a comfortable and safe manner. Dr. Katie continues to take additional courses to learn as much as possible and stay up-to-date with current treatment techniques.

Dr. Katie is a licensed human chiropractor in the state of TX and is a certified animal chiropractic provider that performs animal chiropractic only with a referral from a veterinarian. (Source)
