Katy Kirbow Mayhew, DVM

Dr. Katy Mayhew grew up loving all things horses. An avid Georgia 4-H’er, she developed a strong interest in equine nutrition and physiology prior to enrolling at the University of Georgia for an Animal Science degree. Following her bachelors degree, Dr. Mayhew attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with an equine emphasis.

Dr. Mayhew completed a rotating internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, Colorado. During this intense year of training she gained invaluable experience treating horses for any and every condition. She discovered a love for dentistry during this time and worked to improve her skills and further her education. Dr. Mayhew returned to Georgia and spent several years as a general practitioner in a private practice before founding Point To Point Equine Veterinary Services, LLC. (Source)
