Kelly B. Tisher, DVM

Born in Britton, South Dakota, Dr. Tisher moved to Colorado in 1994, and joined the practice as an Intern that same year. He became an Associate Veterinarian with the practice on July 1st, 1995 and a Partner in the practice on January 1st, 2000.

Dr. Tisher’s history in the equine industry dates back to his days in South Dakota, where he was born and raised on a beef cattle farm. He also had the responsibility of helping track horses on the farm, as he tended to lean towards the animals more than the tractors. His other equine disciplines include; cutting, team penning, trail riding, driving horse teams and hunter/jumper.

At Littleton Equine Medical Center, his focuses are Sports Medicine, Lameness and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

When not at the clinic, you will find him enjoying the great outdoors with his daughter, Maggie, who tends to their cat, dogs, chickens and horses. (Source)
