Dr. Arnold holds degrees from Southwest Texas State University and Texas A&M University as well as a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. An active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, he writes for equestrian publications on issues related to the health and well-being of performance and breeding horses. Dr. Arnold has served as a regular columnist for multiple equine publications and was a Founding Board Member for the Texas Horse Park.
Dr. Arnold is an avid cutting horse enthusiast, competing on a regular basis in NCHA, and AQHA competitions. He has been a top ten finisher multiple times in both cutting and pole bending competition at the prestigious AQHA World Show.
Prior to establishing his own private practice, Dr. Arnold was an associate veterinarian with Equiplex Veterinary Hospital in Flower Mound, where he worked with Dr. Bobby Willard.
Dr. Arnold is a founding associate of Animal Imaging, an outpatient imaging facility which provides state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services to veterinarians, located in Irving. Dr. Arnold currently serves on the membership committee of the Texas Equine Veterinary Association, where he is also involved with the organization’s Equitarian Outreach Project in Guatemala.
