Kevin Bradley Wahl, DVM

Dr Kevin Wahl grew up in Fairview, Oklahoma. He attended Tabor College on a football scholarship. He attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University receiving his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2008 during which he served 2 years as his class president. He began his time with Idaho Equine Hospital in June of 2008 spending one year as an intern. In July of 2009 he began his large animal surgery residency at Purdue University, but he jumped at the opportunity to finish his residency in private practice returning to Idaho Equine Hospital in 2011 for the last year of his residency. He published an article on orthopedic injections in Veterinary Surgery and was recognized by the ACVS with a first place Outstanding Surgical Resident Award. His professional interests include sports medicine, orthopedic infection, injection technique, orthopedic surgery and wound healing. Dr Wahl is a member of AAEP and ACVS. In 2014, Dr Wahl successfully completed all of the requirements and received his board certification through the American College of Veterinary Surgeons . Outside of work Dr Wahl enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, skiing and anything that gets him out into the mountains. He married his wife Jackie in 2016 and have two beautiful daughters. Dr Wahl is also a partner at Idaho Equine Hospital, joining the partnership in January of 2017. (Source)
