Krista Porter, DVM, MBA, CVSMT, CVFT, CERP, CCRP, cVMA

During her veterinary career she has worked in a mixed animal practice, as well as, an equine exclusive practice before venturing out on her own in 2009.

Prior to establishing Springwater Veterinary Services in 2012, Dr. Porter practiced under her name during which time she honed her special interests of chiropractic and rehabilitation services. She currently holds licenses in Idaho and Washington. Dr. Porter has a passion for Friesian horses and enjoys breeding and riding them. She is a member of Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA) and she also serves on the health committee for FHANA, where she is working with vets from the United States and the Netherlands to develop ways to improve the health of the Friesian breed. She is closely affiliated and serves as an adviser for the Fenway Foundation for Friesian Horses.

Dr. Porter is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians (AARV). (Source)
