Kurt H. Lutgens, DVM

Dr. Kurt Lutgens is the owner and founder of Battenkill Veterinary Equine. He graduated from Cornell University Vet School with his DVM degree in 1978 and began practicing on all large and small animals. He ultimately decided to practice exclusively on horses in
1987. Dr. Lutgens has vast knowledge and experience in all facets of Equine medicine and is especially proficient in lameness and reproduction.

In his precious spare time he has raised three sons and enjoys boating, fishing camping, scuba diving and working around his own farm. (Source)
