Dr. Kyre Larrabee is a 2020 graduate from Oklahoma State University (OSU), where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She recently completed an equine sports medicine and surgery internship in Colorado. She also attended OSU for her undergraduate education in which she majored in Animal Science. Dr. Larrabee grew up in Southwest Kansas on her family’s ranch, where she developed a passion for horses and livestock. She has spent much of her life riding and competing in rodeos. During undergrad she competed for the OSU Rodeo Team in breakaway roping and goat tying. While in veterinary school, Dr. Larrabee served as President for the National Student American Veterinary Medical Association advocating for veterinary students, veterinarians, and animals. Aside from organized veterinary medicine, Dr. Larrabee enjoys spending her free time outdoors, traveling, and trying to cultivate her green thumb. She has two Australian Shepherds named Hooey and Stoney. (Source)
