Lamise Al-Basha, DVM

Dr. Lamise Al-Basha is originally from Illinois and grew up riding horses from a young age, participating in Pony Club and Eventing.

Dr. Al-Basha attended Augustana College where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Veterinary Sciences. She then went to veterinary school at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Lamise moved to the Northeast to complete her internship with Fairfield Equine. After completing her internship, Dr. Al-Basha was excited to continue to pursue her passion for providing excellent care to her equine patients by joining the Fairfield team as an Associate. Her primary interests include medicine, lameness, and emergency work.

When she is not working, Dr. Al-Basha enjoys traveling, hiking with her two dogs, and spending time with family and friends. (Source)
