Laura C. Constantinescu, DVM

Dr. Constantinescu completed a three-year undergraduate degree in Bio-Medical Science at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. She graduated in 2017 from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph.

She knew she wanted to become a veterinarian since she was around 10 years old. Going to the barn and seeing all of the animals—horses, barn cats, and dogs— really solidified her love of all creatures great and small.

Immediately following graduation, Dr. Constantinescu moved to Eastern New York where she completed an intensive one-year equine internship at a ten-doctor veterinary practice. Following that, she practiced mixed animal medicine in Southern New Hampshire and North Central Massachusetts.

In her current role as a vet at Wachusett Animal Hospital, she takes a special interest in orthopedics and ophthalmology.

Dr. Constantinescu and her husband share 4 pets. A German Shepherd (Sydni), DSH (Luna), a Quarter Horse (Riddle) from her previous job, and a snake (Reggie) who lives in her husband’s classroom full time.

Outside of work, she enjoys long horseback rides when the weather and time allow it. Otherwise, she is an avid puzzler, baker, and reality TV watcher. (Source)
