Laura Scott, DVM, cVMA, cVPM

I received my BA in Psychology from Arizona State University in 1993 and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2002.

I have devoted nearly twenty years to the practice of medicine and surgery and many of those years as a hospital owner. At the end of 2019, I sold my general veterinary medicine practice and now focus my care on physical and psycho/emotional comfort and healing as well as patient advocacy.

In 2010, I completed the comprehensive 140-hour Veterinary Medical Acupuncture Certification through Colorado State University which is now offered through CuraCore.

In 2020, I completed the Roll Model Practitioner certification with TuneUp Fitness in fascial manipulation, and in 2021 I completed the 40-hour CuraCore intensive course in Veterinary Photomedicine.

I live in Black Forest and I hike these trails with my Big Dog Bodhi and my Big Girl Bonnie. I have a 500-hour Vinyasa teacher training certification with Jason Crandell, and I love reading, caring for my kitties, forever scoopin’ poop for my horses, and climbing at City Rock. (Source)
