Lauren Corey, DVM

Lauren Corey grew up in Hillsborough, California and after spending time in Texas and Kansas, she returned to the Bay Area to complete her equine internship at Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics. Lauren graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BS in Biology and earned her DVM at Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. While at Kansas State, Lauren served as fundraising chair for the class of 2020, president of the Student Chapter of the American Associate of Equine Practitioners, as well as a student ambassador.

Lauren’s areas of interest include equine lameness and dentistry, but she is enjoying getting to work with more species and quickly falling in love with them! Lauren’s free time is spent riding, skiing and hiking. A little known fact about Lauren, she was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Music Teachers Association of California in Piano Level – Advanced, and can play some amazing classical pieces!!
