Dr. Lauren Pasch has joined Rhinebeck Equine as our board-certified theriogenologist.
Dr. Pasch will be leading our reproduction department beginning in January 2021, offering assisted reproductive services for mares and stallions as well as reproductive consults for performance horses.
Dr. Pasch was raised in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI where her involvement with horses started at a young age. She received a BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and remained in the Boston area following graduation. Ultimately Dr. Pasch returned to her home state to attend veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin. She then moved back east for a one-year internship here at Rhinebeck Equine before completing a Residency in Large Animal Theriogenology at University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. For the past 2 years, Dr. Pasch has been working at an equine referral practice in Wisconsin with a focus on assisted reproductive techniques and is thrilled to be rejoining the team at Rhinebeck Equine.
Dr. Pasch is board certified by the American College of Theriogenologists and has special interests in high-risk pregnancies, subfertile mares, and embryo transfer. She became certified in Equine Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in 2014 and will be providing acupuncture services for all of our patients.
Dr. Pasch is a lifelong runner and recently became obsessed with stand-up paddleboarding. She is a Wisconsin sports fan with an unwavering love for the Green Bay Packers. Her husband Fred, along with their elder dog and cat, are equally excited to be returning to the Hudson Valley.
