As manager of Ivy Bridge Stables, I am hyper-focused on ensuring the health, safety, and contentment of each individual horse and I strive to care for each with generous amounts of attention and affection. In pursuit of my B.S. in Equine Studies degree, I trained with experts in all aspects of barn management and horse care: From nutrition to pasture management; from first aid to veterinary systems and disorders; from teaching to training; arena and barn maintenance to barn and course design. I have been riding since age six, with a primary background in dressage, having trained with Michelle Folden and Ferris Yanney.
Additionally, I am attuned to the happiness and satisfaction of our boarders, as well. Besides being responsive to questions and suggestions, I maintain a cheerful atmosphere around the farm and have created a comfortable “home away from home” ambience in the boarders’ lounge.
I live on-site, so I typically provide 24/7 oversight of the barn, the horses in my care, and any unforeseen problems which might arise at Ivy Bridge Stables. I am a native Charlestonian.
