Leslie Ann Mikulich, DVM

A native Californian, born and raised in the North Bay, Dr. Leslie has always had a passion for animals. Her first horse at 12, she was rarely seen without her four-legged friend nearby, whether it be riding the hills of Terra Linda or getting into mischief in the barn.

Years later, things are much the same…Dr. Leslie has integrated her infatuation for horses into a career. After graduating cum laude from Sonoma State, Dr. Leslie was accepted to the University of California Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. She opened her own practice soon after graduation and continues to maintain her business in Sonoma County. She specializes in general medicine, as well as equine dentistry.

What makes Dr. Leslie good at her profession is her determination and love of life. She values every animal she helps not as a pet or commodity, but a being that is loved. As a horse owner, a mother, a wife; she knows how important these animals are to her clients and acknowledges that these are not just animals, but family members. Her commitment to excellence and “doing right” by her patients is evident in the time and effort she puts into every horse she sees.
