I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian but my path to veterinary school was not a direct one. I spent my young adulthood traveling the world, working as a snowboard instructor, and riding horses. All the time I kept feeding my mind, learning and pursuing graduate degrees in non-veterinary academic disciplines. Throughout all of those experiences, I remained passionate about animals and animal health.

After my horses and I experienced the benefits of chiropractic and acupuncture as we healed from various sports injuries, my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian was rekindled.

After graduating from veterinary school, I took my education further, becoming certified in veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic and massage therapy. Soon I knew that while veterinary medicine was my profession, these physical medicine modalities were my calling. By 2009, my mobile practice in Denver, Colorado focused exclusively on physical medicine services. In 2019 I earned my certification in equine rehabilitation and performance medicine, and in 2021 I became certified in canine rehabilitation. (Source)
