Luke E. Runnion, DVM

Luke is a 2012 graduate of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he practiced for 4 years in rural mixed practice, before spending 2 years at an equine referral and surgical center in Montana. In June of 2018, he moved back to Maple Creek and opened Creekside Veterinary Service. Luke truly enjoys the variety that rural mixed animal practice provides in his day, and although he seems to find himself with a large equine and bovine caseload, he does enjoy companion animal wellness and medical practice as well.

Luke is currently a member of the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medicine Association’s Practice Standards Committee – he provides a voice for rural large animal veterinarians/practices with regards to provincial regulations.

Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Montana, Luke also holds memberships with the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Western Canadian Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.

In his spare time Luke enjoys fishing, hunting, helping out on the family ranch, and spending time with his family. (Source)
