Lynn A. Gomes-Berkelaar, DVM

Lynn Gomes, D.V.M., B.S. Animal Science, CEVMMP, is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. She earned a B.S. in Animal Science at Dalhousie University in Truro Nova Scotia. Dr. Gomes graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduating she completed a one year surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital and has been working in the Raleigh area ever since. She has been certified as an Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner from the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute.

Dr. Gomes professional interests are preventative medicine, lameness and poor performance issues, vertebral manipulation (AKA “equine chiropractic”) and diagnostic imaging. In her free time she enjoys riding and competing with her horse Half Emilion and new mount Colero Z as well as spending time with her husband, two dogs, and gardening. (Source)
