Lynn Taborda Escobar

Lynn is the founder and lead facilitator of Pura Vida Ranch in Shallow Lake, Ontario, a faith-rooted, horse-facilitated healing and development sanctuary serving women and youth. With more than thirty years of hands-on experience with horses, she brings both deep horsemanship and a personal understanding of what it means to rebuild confidence and find your voice again.

The ranch operates on generational family land and is home to a herd of five large horses and five miniature horses. Lynn’s approach is trauma-informed and relationship-centered: each horse is treated as a partner in the work, never a prop, and sessions are built around the horse’s willingness to engage. Many of the herd have their own histories of learning to trust people, which gives them a rare sensitivity to the clients they meet.

Lynn’s work is grounded in safety, acceptance, and honest connection, creating a space where clients can slow down, be fully themselves, and discover what the horses reflect back to them.
