M. Wayne McNeel, DVM

Dr. McNeel obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in rural Wyoming on a ranch with a working herd of horses. While in veterinary school, Dr. McNeel met his future wife Charlene who was born and raised in California. They married in 1990 and Dr. McNeel has been practicing equine medicine in Southern California ever since. His spare time is spent with his wife and two boys, Garrett and Jeremy. Team Penning is the family’s favorite sport. In the last few years the McNeel’s have enjoyed being owners of competitive cutting & snaffle bit futurity horses. Wayne’s most recent personal endeavor is showing in an upcoming working cow horse event. (Source)
