Madeline Courville, DVM

Dr. Courville was born and raised in San Jose. She spent most of her childhood at the barn and hitting the trails with her Arabian horse, Raisa, before discovering her love of jumping. She now shares her love of jumping with her two equine partners, Accent and Monroe and hopes to return to the local show circuit in the near future.

Dr. Courville obtained her undergraduate degree in animal science with equine emphasis at UC Davis, where she was an active member and officer of the IHSA Hunter Jumper Team.

While at Davis, Dr. Courville also worked in the large animal hospital in the ICU, equine surgery and lameness, and with the integrative sports medicine service before getting into veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences.

She has a passion for integrative medicine and hopes to one day obtain her chiropractic certification, and enjoys a thorough lameness workup, as well as seeing emergency cases. (Source)
