Mandy Mulder, DVM

Dr. Mandy Mulder graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009. Upon graduating Dr. Mulder worked in another mixed animal practice for 4 years before joining the Dufferin Veterinary Services team in 2013.

Dr. Mulder began horseback riding at a young age and was immersed in riding, training and showing horses throughout childhood and adolescence. She is an alumnus of The Canadian Pony Club and has competed extensively in hunter, jumper and eventing disciplines. Dr. Mulder continues to keep a small collection of aging equines on her hobby farm in Wellington County. Dr. Mulder enjoys partaking in all aspects of large animal practice. She has keen interests in equine health management and preventative medicine as well as emergency procedures. Dr. Mulder also thoroughly enjoys the challenges and rewarding outcomes of ruminant obstetrics. Dr. Mulder also enjoys sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation and is always happy to speak to children’s groups or clubs or provide one on one mentoring opportunities.

Outside of veterinary practice Dr. Mulder enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She is a proud hockey mom to one son and groom and stable hand for 2 daughters. She also enjoys crafting, especially crocheting, and relaxing with a good book.
