Marlo Egleston, DVM

Marlo Egleston here! My life has revolved around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on my family’s dairy farm in Elkland, PA where we also raised registered Polled Herefords and had a collection of horses. We showed our homebred cattle across the country before basketball took over and commanded our competitive time. I broadened my horizons with four years in Washington, DC attending The George Washington University on full athletic scholarship. After my time there, I was anxious to return home and spent three years working full time on my family’s farm while also coaching basketball performance work for Nike. When I realized I needed “a real career” I decided to follow through on my dream of attending veterinary school. I spent my veterinary school years at Cornell University focusing on equine and food animal medicine. Following graduation I moved to Lewisburg to work for West Branch Mobile Vet Clinic. Opening my own practice has always been my ultimate goal, and I was fortunate to make that dream a reality January 1, 2019. (Source)
