Megan Meyers, DVM

Dr. Megan Meyers specializes in Integrative Veterinary Medicine for horses. She provides services such as Acupuncture, Laser therapy, Herbal Medication and Spinal Adjustment/Chiropractic care. By taking the time to develop a special relationship with her clients and their horses, she is a fundamental part of the team that keeps horses healthy and performing to the best of their ability.

Dr. Megan, as she is known to her clients, began riding at the age of eight. Her love for horses grew as she competed in Eventing and later was a member of the Equestrian team at the University of Florida. She graduated in 1996 with a BS in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with Honors from UF’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation, she completed a surgical internship at the Ocala Equine Hospital. She has extensive post-doctoral training and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner. (Source)
