Meghan Caitlin McCarville, DVM

Dr. Meghan grew up in a small town north of St. Paul, Minnesota where she spent her time showing horses in 4H and the local saddle club association. It was here that she discovered her passion for animals. After attending college at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, Dr. Meghan then spent a year in China, where she taught English. Upon returning home, she attended the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2013. Dr. Meghan decided a long time ago that she didn’t want a job, she wanted a career. And she discovered that being a veterinarian allowed her to combine her love for animals into a career. In her spare time, Dr. McCarville enjoys breeding, training, and showing western pleasure horses with AQHA. She also has an interest in mounted archery, an up-and-coming sport. Dr. McCarville also enjoys travelling the world, going to places like India, Morocco, Southeast Asia, and Europe. (Source)
