Melanie Connor, DVM

Dr. Melanie Connor grew up in Southern California spending the majority of her time out at the barn. She began showing horses in both the local and rated hunter/jumper circuits at a young age and continued to show throughout her veterinary school career. Melanie received both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Colorado State University. After vet school Melanie completed her internship here at Pioneer and then stayed on as an associate to work in the East Bay. She received her acupuncture certification from CuraCore in 2020. She has a special interest in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation along with diagnostic imaging. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her dog “Huck”, rock climbing, camping, and riding her horse “Louie”. (Source)
