Melanie Fratto, DVM

Dr. Melanie Fratto recently joined Banfield after making a big move across the country from Virginia. She has been working as a horse vet the last several years in both Virginia and Kentucky and is excited to be working with our smaller pets now! Dr. Fratto grew up in Georgia and attended the University of Georgia for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. Her professional interests include preventive wellness care as well as alternative therapies such as animal chiropractic care and acupuncture. She has two doggie best friends, a mixed breed rescue named Phineus and an energetic jack russell terrier named Piper. In her spare time, Dr. Fratto enjoys taking her dogs to the beach and on long hikes. She is looking forward to meeting the pets of Pacific Beach and hopes to see you around town! (Source)
