Dr. Melinda Roche grew up in West Richland, Washington on a cattle ranch. She spent the summers, during college, working as an assistant for mixed animal veterinarian, Dr. Hank Oliver. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University and then her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, also from Washington State University, in 2000. She returned to Pasco, Washington and worked as a mixed animal veterinarian, with a special interest in equine reproduction and dentistry, at the Animal Hospital of Pasco. Upon moving to Idaho in 2005, Dr. Roche worked part time at Addison Animal Center in Twin Falls, seeing small animal patients and started Roche Equine Veterinary Services, P.A. Dr. Roche’s passion is equine reproduction and medicine and now sees equine patients exclusively. Dr. Roche is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Society For Theriogenology (animal reproduction), the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association and the Magic Valley Veterinary Association. Dr. Roche specializes in mare reproduction and mare with fertility problems. (Source)
