Michael McGowan, DVM

Mike obtained a B.Sc in biochemistry with a research honours in microbiology from the University of New Brunswick, then obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Guelph in 1986. Mike is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and a long standing committee member of the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association. He has obtained additional training in his professional fields of interest including; equine dentistry, equine lameness, infectious disease and bio security, bovine and equine reproduction and nutrition.

Mike is married to Dana Power (partner/companion animal veterinarian) and their primary interest is their daughter, Annie. (Source)
