Michele L. Ferraro, VMD

Dr. Ferraro is a 1988 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a 1984 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. She is a certified International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) acupuncturist and a member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP- a group of veterinarians dedicated to advancing their knowledge about lameness and lameness diagnosis).

Equine sports medicine and digital imaging have been areas of particular passion and expertise for the past 20 years, and she is currently advancing her expertise in postural re­habilitation. Dr. Ferraro also has broad experience and expertise in medicine and re­produc­tion. Her personal interests include raising sheep, sheep dog trialing and training with border collies in addition to riding Leista, the Icelandic horse.
