Miranda grew up on a dairy farm in rural Fremont County and filled most of her days taking care of the farm animals. It was no surprise that her dream early on was to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She received her degree from Colorado State University and promptly joined the Stock Doc in 2006.

Dr. Miranda was involved in a serious horse accident this summer and is currently recovering at Craig Rehab Hospital in Denver. We hope to have her back home soon!

Dr. Miranda is continuing to improve and wow her therapists with her wit and determination.

She will be home for Thanksgiving. Miranda will then head back to Craig Hospital for more therapy. She still has a long recovery as her brain and body heals, but if anyone can overcome this injury, she can. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. (Source)
