Molly Delaney, DVM – Intern Team

The youngest of 4 children and an auntie to 4 little ones, Dr. Delaney grew up in Greensboro, where her love for horses and for the sport of eventing began.

She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia Tech, where she started the school’s eventing team. During her summers as a working undergrad, she discovered her passion for equine medicine and following graduation Molly went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.

Molly takes special interest in sports medicine, podiatry and imaging, but loves all aspects of veterinary medicine.

When not at the clinic Dr. Delaney loves riding, cooking, baking and spending time with her 3 year old Husky mix Cooper. Molly found Cooper on the side of the road on the way home from the barn.

Together Cooper and Molly adore hiking, taking rides in the car and sleeping on the kitchen table (That last activity primarily belongs to Cooper, not Molly. Although it wouldn’t be completely unheard of for a recent vet school grad to catch a nap anywhere he or she can.) (source)
